Gentlemen:
As committed in our letter of December 12, 1977, please find attached our revision of the Fire Protection Technical Specifications as transmitted in your twenty (20) day letter (undated) received December 5, 1978.
This proposal is based on our understanding that the reporting requirements -
as outlined in specifications 3.5.5.2, 3.17.2, 3.18.2, and 3.19.2 will not require a report if the equipment is restored to operable status within the specified number of days.
We believe our attached specifications to be very close to your origional intent. In many cases changes were made only to clarify or streamline the specification. Should you have comments involving our changes, we will be willing to discuss them at whatever length is .
necessary to effect an expediant resolution.
Much time and effort has been expended in developing this technical specification package and we believe the specifications to be a good, workable set which will supplement our already strict inhouse and NEL-PIA requirements. Combined, we are assured of adequate fire protection for ANO-1.
