The connector was repaired, and satisfactory indication was restored.

- Detector and extension cable connectors are routinely disconnected and tested or cleaned. It is believed that this type of failure is an effect of the wear and deterioration-normally expected to occur through handling. This type of failure has not been repetitive, th6refore, no preventive action is presently -

being taken to prevent recurrence.
