SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE September 1999 The unit began the month at 100%.

Power was reduced to 90% on @/17/99 at 1914 for waterbox cleaning. Waterbox cleaning was completed and power was restored to 100% on 09/19/99 at 0045.

While moving controlled element assemblies (CEAs) for reactivity control, CEA #37 was dropped.

Power stabilized at 95% and following restoration of CE.4 #37 to the required position, power was returned to 100% at 2100.

The unit was manually tripped on 09/22/99 at 0968 in res ponse to decreasing steam generator water levels. Following resolution of the cause of the trip 6 reactor was taken critical on 09/23/99 at 2331 and the unit was paralleled to the grid on 09/24/99 at 0710. The unit reached 100% at 2245.

. Power was reduced to 89% on 09/30/9915r waterb( x cleaning. The unit operated at 89% power for the.

remainder of the month.

September 1909 The unit began the month at 100% power.

On 09/16/99' power was reduced to 90% for waterbox cleaning. Power was further reduced to 85% to limit differential temperature across the condensers. Waterbox cleaning was completed and power was returned to 100% on 09/17/99.
