Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 Inte rated Schedule Monthl Summar Attached is the Summary Report of the Integrated Schedule generated for the month of July, 1988. The schedules discussed in this report reflect information as of the issuance date of June 28, 1988, which includes a new outage completion date for Unit 4 Cycle 12. Updated information will be provided in subsequent reports. The changes to the schedules discussed in this summary have been reviewed with members of the NRC Staff in accordance with the Integrated Schedule Plan. FPL will issue the next 6-month Integrated Schedule Report following the November 1988 schedule.

XNFORMATXON ON NRC MODXFXCATXONS SCHEDULE A ITEMS MOD 14 CONTROL ROOM HABITABILITYHVAC The NRC commitment was met on June 13, 1988 which was within the 45 day LCO. This LCO was a one-time technical specification change to allow tie-in of this HVAC MOD. The status of the MOD will change from COFO to FPL for the completion of the following four system enhancements identified during the installation and testing of this MOD.

These are:

1) Replace one switch from a type that has a spring return to a switch without a spring return. This may prevent a false actuation signal.

2) Replace the type of cable connectors used from a solder to crimp type connector.

3) Provide a method to actuate the trip relay for monthly system testing.

4) Replacement of one radiation monitor cable due to high resistance.

MOD 565 4 RHR INSTALL UPGRADED 10" GLOBE VALVE The NRC commitment date has been extended to the end of the Unit 4 Cycle 13 outage (November 19, 1990) per teleconference with the NRC. This discussion was then documented by letter L-88-306, dated July 22, 1988. This was necessary to accommodate schedule revisions which currently do not support activity completion by the upcoming Unit 4 outage end.
