The "% Change" was calculated by dividing the difference between the populations of two different years by the population of the earlier of the two years. The same method was used for the calculation of employment level "% Change".

The data items include monthly estimates of labor force, Data Projections employment, unemployment volume and unemployment rate for historic current year. These estimates are produced by the New Jersey Departn LMI Press Releases and Labor and Workforce Development.
