NJPDES Discharge to Surface Water (DSW) Permit Permit No. NJ0005550 Application for Transfer, of Ownership and of a Permit GPUN, operator of the OCNGS, on behalf of the owner, Jersey Central Power & Light Company d/b/a GPU Energy, Inc. (JCP&L), is submitting the accompanying information to accomplish the transfer ofNJPDES DSW Permit NJ0005550 to AmerGen Energy Company, LLC, in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:14A-16.2(d), an automatic transfer of a NJPDES permit.

AmerGen Energy Company, LLC, is purchasing the OCNGS from JCP&L and will be assuming all responsibility for this facility on the projected financial closure date of May 22, 2000.

Therefore, GPUN is submitting the accompanying completed application form, transfer of permit certification statement, and transfer of permit responsibility agreement, 30 days prior to the proposed transfer date of May 22, 2000, to accomplish an automatic transfer of the permit.
