WILLIAM S. BLAZOWSKI 1107 Egret Court (609) 971-2783 Forked River, New Jersey 08731 (609) 709-9914 (Ceil)

March 14, 2007 Mr. Andrew Heyl Land Use Regulation Program Bureau of Coastal Management New Jersey DEP 501 East State Street Trenton, NJ 08625-0439 Re: Federal Consistency Certification for License Renewal Application of Oyster Creek Generating Station, Docket No. 1500-02-0004.4

Dear Mr. Heyl:

I've learned recently that the Oyster Creek Generating Station in Lacey Township has applied for NJDEP's concurrence with its Federal Consistency Certification.

This includes a proposed donation of 220 acres of land that would provide preservation of valuable wetlands and public waterfront access to Oyster Creek

.and the south branch of the Forked River.

My residence is on Egret Court in Forked River, adjacent to the Finninger property which is in consideration for donation. This area consists of undeveloped wetlands that are very valuable to our local environment and need to be preserved. The power plant's proposal would accomplish this, while allowing reasonable recreational access to citizens of the area.

I'm a retired chemical/mechanical engineer (my career was in a major oil company's research and engineering organization) and understand the importance of saving this environmental resource from development or misuse. I am very supportive of AmerGen's plan and encourage NJDEP to endorse the proposal.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely, W.S Blazork
