AmerGen's "10 CFR 54.21 (b) Annual Amendment to Oyster Creek Generating Station License Renewal Application (TAC No. MC7624)," dated July 18, 2006 On July 22, 2005, AmerGen Energy Company, LLC (AmerGen) submitted a License Renewal Application (LRA) for the Oyster Creek Generating Station (Oyster Creek) (Reference 1). In the Reference 2 letter, AmerGen provided the NRC with an annual amendment to the LRA as required by 10 CFR 54.21 (b), as a result of a review of the Oyster Creek current licensing basis (CLB) performed in 2006.

Since the Oyster Creek LRA is still pending before the NRC, AmerGen has performed another annual review to determine whether any changes to the Oyster Creek CLB have occurred that materially affect the contents of the LRA, including the FSAR supplement. AmerGen has concluded that there have been no changes to the Oyster Creek CLB that materially affect the LRA.

Note that since submittal of the LRA on July 22, 2005, a significant amount of information has been provided to the NRC in written correspondence (e.g., responses to NRC RAIs, commitment updates, etc.) that has supplemented and modified the LRA. In the context of 10 CFR 54.21(b), this information is considered to be part of the LRA.
