D. Ashley - Oyster Creek LR-Q1.wpd Page 1 I In the response to RAI B.2.3-1 the applicant stated that:

RStator cooling water conductivity is maintained less than 0.5 pS/cm. The Generator shall be shutdown immediately if the stator cooling water conductivity reaches 10 pS/cm."

The value for the generator shutdown is therefore 20 times higher than the allowable maximum water conductivity. What is the basis for such a large divergence between these two values?
