Kathie, Based on our recent conversation, I am sending a list of sites in the vicinity of Oyster Creek Generating Stetion.We understand that most likely the sites would have been recorded or simply noted during the 1980 archaeological inventory of the Pinelands. One or two of them may actually have been recorded in the 1940s by Dorothy Cross. The sites are generally located in the vicinity of the ForkedRiver and Oyster Creek on the Forked River Quadrangle. The following site numbers were selected from a map observed at the NJ SHPO:

Our inventory includes the following. These sites were recorded as a part of a survey conducted in 1980 involving collectors and archaeologists. It included the state Pinelands and areas in the PNR and CAFRA.
