SUMMARY

STATEMENT:

l Crystal River Unit #3 completed the Design Basis issues outage on February 05.

During power escallation in preparing for a turbine overspeed trip test, the turbine was taken offline on February 05 to resolve a bearing vibration issue.

The turbine overspeed trip test was successfully completed on February 06 and the unit returned to service on the same day.

On February 11, a turbine / reactor trip occurred as a result of a loss of ICS power.

The repair was completed and the unit returned to service on February 13.
