Dear Mr..Hebdon:
Generic Letter No. 89-04, " Guidance on Developing Acceptable Inservice Testing have notPrograms," approved received a Safety IST program Evaluation Reportrelief req)uests (SER providedfor licensees that they who confirm their conformance with the positions stated in this generic: letter.
Table 2.of G.L. 89-04 listed those plants with current IST programs reviewed and SER issued, who need not respond.
After consultation with our NRC Project Manager, in a telephone conference on May 25, 1989, he informed us that ANO-2 was inadvertently omitted from Table 2 of G.L. 89-04, since an SER had been issued on June 20, 1985 (2CNA068503) and that a response to the generic letter for ANO-2 was not required. He also indicated that a supplemental SER would be forthcoming _
as a result of our response to the SER concerning certain safety related pumps and valves.
