This Special Instructions page addresses the NRC Amendments to 10CFR 73.55 effective December 2, 1986. This page was inadvertently omitted when the above subject revisions were transmitted to the NRC. Specific instructions are addressed in the attachment. This page, relevant to the above subject revisions, does not decrease the effectiveness of the Station Security Plans.

This material is applicable to the security provisions of Duke Power Company Nu-clear Stations; therefore, Duke requests that this material be withheld from pub-lic disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
