Dear Mr. Uravitch,

l The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received a copy of'the draft "

Environmental Impact Statement for the Ohio Coastal Management Program (OCMP).

The NRC reviewed the document and determined the OCMP boundary includes two nuclear. power plant facilities. We contacted the Perry nuclear power plant  ;

and the Davis Besse nuclear-power plant and the licensees confirmed that the '

plants are located within the coastal management boundary. The responsible i personnel at the utility were made aware of.the OCMP. The licensees  !

understand actions inside or outside the coastal boundary that. will affect any  :

land or water use or natural resource of the coastal zone will be coordinated with the NRC (if the action requires NRC approval), the State, and NOAA in I accordance with the OCMP federal consistency requirements. Thank you for the-  !

opportunity to comment on your document.  !
