Your letter of March 2,1984 requested that Alabama Power Company identify any potential NUREG-0737 problems or items that may not be resolved by September 1984. Attachments 1 and 2 provide a listing with status of those NUREG-0737 items for Units 1 and 2 respectively for which NRC approval of Alabama Power Company position? has not been received. Not included in these listings are items I.C.1, I.D.1 and I.D.2 which have been made part of the NUREG-0737, Supplement 1 actions and items II.B.2.3 for Unit 1 and II.B.2.4 for Unit 2 whose requirements were suspended by 10CFR50.49 on June 30, 1982. It is noted that items II.F.2 and II.K.3.31 will require additional submittals by Alabama Power Company as stated in letters of March 10, 1983 and February 10, 1984, respectively. There is a potential that final resolution on these two issues may not be reached by September 1984.
