SUMMARY

Month: August, 1986 Oconee Unit 1 began the month at 100% power. On 8/06 the unit came off line and

~

~

entered an outage to repair Steam Generator tubes. The unit returned to service on 8/18 after working on the Main Turbine's #6 bearing. The unit returned to 100% and operated at that level until 8/28. The Electro-Hydraulic Control system developed a leak which forced ~the unit off line. The leak was repaired, and the unit returned to service. On 8/29 Condenser Air Ejector problems slowed the increase to 100%. The unit was at 100% by 8/30, and remained there l throughout the end of the nonth.
