SUMMARY

Month: May, 1987 Oconee Unit i began the month at 87% power. On 5/19 at 2356, the unit was taken off line to repair an oil leak and to degas the oil in the main transformer. The unit returned to service on 5/21 at 0720, and operated at 87%

for the remainder of the month. The unit continues to be limited to 87% power-by the reactor building cooling units and the low pressure injection coolers.

SUMMARY

. Month: May, 1987 Oconee Unit 3 began the month in an outage to repair a Steam Generator tube leak. The unit was placed on line at 5/02 at 2221, and increased power to 77%,

where power was held from 5/03 at 0351 to 5/03 at 0543 per Dispatcher request.

The unit then increased power to 100%, where it operated for the remainder of,

the month.
