Month: March, 1986 Oconee Unit 1 began'the month in an outage to replace the unit's Main Transformer. The unit returned to service on 3/06 and increased power to 88% of its rated output. The unit is limited by its temporary Main Transformer. The unit operated between 88% and 90% power for the remainder of the month.

Month: March, 1987 Oconee Unit 2 began the month at 97% power,' limited by high Steam Generator-levels. On 03/26, a spurious signal in the Integrated Control System caused the unit to trip. The unit returned to service on 03/27 and escalated power to 96%,
where it remained for the rest of the month.

On 3/30, as the unit's generator was being prepared to be put on line, excessive vibration was detected on two of the generator's bearings. Personnel Exposure For the month of February, 17 individuals exceeded 10 percent-of their allowable annual radiation dose limit with the highest dose being 1.760 Rem which represents approximately 14.7% of that person's allowable annual limit.
