DOCKET NO 50-270 UNIT: OCONEE 2 DATE: It'15/85 NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
MONTH: September 1985 Oconee Unit 2 began the month at 96% power due to high Steam Generator level. On 9/18/85 the unit was shut down to repair a leaking instrument root valve. The unit returned to service the following day and escalated to 100% power. The return to 100% rather than 96% was due to modifications to the Steam Generator level control and Feedwater pump operating programs. The unit operated at 100% for the balance of the month.
