DOCKET NO: 50-270 UNIT: Oconee 2 DATE: 1/15/87 NARRATIVE SinDIARY Month: December 1986 Oconee Unit 2 shut down on December 1, 1986 to re-align the Generator and Alterex to reduce Main Turbine bearing vibration. The Reactor was held at 15% while the unit was off line. The re-alignment was completed on December 3, and the unit returned to service. It operated between 94%

and 95% for the remainder of the month. 1
