DOCKET NO: 50-269 UNIT: Oconee'1 DATE: 5/15/85 NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
Mon'th: April 1985 The unit operated at 100% until April 11, when it tripped because of an Intercept valve card socket which had vibrated loose causing the valve to close. The unit tripped on its return when a connection in the Electro-Hydraulic Control system vibrated loose causing a ' Throttle valve to close. The unit returned to service
. on April 12,- and operated at 100% until April 25, when power was lost to the-Control Room Stator alarms. A manual transfer to an alternate source caused a
' transient which resulted in' the loss of both Feedpumps and a unit trip.
The unit returned to service on April 26 'and operated at 100% for the remainder of the month.

April 1985 The unit was in refueling until April 22.
The unit tripped on its return during power escalation when the operating Feedpump tripped on low oil pressure. The unit returned to service on April 22, and increased power to 76%. ' The unit is -
now limited to 73% because of high Steam Generator levels. The unit operated at this. level until' April 26, when a loose card in the Main Turbine control cabinet caused the Turbine to trip. The unit returned to 73% and operated at that level for the balance of the month.
