NRC RETENTION OF BATTELLE MEMORIAL INSTITUTE'S LICENSE AFTER ATTAINMENT OF AGREEMENT STATE STATUS BY THE STATE OF OHIO
Dear Mr. Jensen:
This refers to your February 5,1999, letter which provided information regarding Battelle Memorial Institute's special nuclear materials possession limits, as requested in our January 21, 1999, letter. My staff has evaluated your information and we have determined that the sum quantities of special nuclear material requested would exclude the transfer of your SNM-7 license to the State of Ohio pursuant to Chapter 19, Section 274b.(4) of the Atomic Energy Act.
Your revised possession limits have been reflected in an amendment to your license which is being transmitted to you under separate cover.
