Subject:

Arkansas Nuclear One-Unit 1 Docket No. 50-313 License No. DPA-51 IE Bulletin 79-14 (File: 2-1510)

Gentlemen:

Due to the necessity of rewalking portions of Seismic Category I Piping at ANO-1, the stress analyses of " accessible" piping are not complete at this time. We will provide you with the results of these analyses October 26, 1979. This is a change in the schedule provided to you in our letter dated August 31, 1979.

In addition, we need to change the due dates of Items 3 and 4 in the above mentioned schedule. Enclosure 1 is our new proposed schedule for responding to IE Bulletin 79-14. We regret this slippage, but the time required to perform the stress analyses proved to be greater than we had i predicted. <

1 Very truly yours,

. v pavidC.Trimble v' Manager, Licensing DCT:M0W:nak ,
