Oconee Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-269 -270. -287 IE Bulletin 80-11 Dear Sir By letter dated February 25, 1985 Duke Power Company (Duke) had informed the NRC of a delay in the testing of the first panel as defined in the Confirmatory Test Program on Arching Action Methodology. The testing program continues to experience delays as a result of an ongoing test program currently using the university facility.

Duke and our consultants are continuing with Treparations for the test program and have reevaluated the date for the beginning of the first test panel. Duke anticipates beginning the test on April 24, 1985. Duke will advise the NRC of any further changes in the test dates through the Oconee's Project Manager.
