Re: Susquehanna Acceptance Review Alicia, attached is my acceptance.

I listed all the areas for which Andrew and I will be responsible for. This is to be clear what we will review and within your expectations. I also intend to use the list as a template during our actual review, thus the long detailed version.

In summary; Since the normal radiological subject areas are all Category 1, the licensee has provided no information. Thus, the licensee's application is acceptable. However, because a power uprate is being prepared, there is a need to examine the license renewal at the uprated power level before we can agree it is Category 1.

Pdicuis- License RRnwlF Accea66p'Revie - sguehanri-.wpd Paok e 211 Acceptance review: The above subject areas are all Category 1, for which the applicant has not provided any information in their application. This is acceptable.

However, the licensee is preparing to request an increase in the authorized power level of the reactors. Increased power level will have an impact on all the above subject areas. It is unknown at this time whether the licensee will remain in Category 1 for these subject areas.

Site specific information on the power uprate and its impact on the above subject areas will need to be evaluated once the power uprate application is submitted.
