call from FWS Hi Alicia, I just received a phone call from Pam Shellenberger at the PA field office of FWS and she said that we would not have to go into formal section 7 consultation or write a BA for either the renewal or the uprate.

She also said that she would be happy to put it in writing and send a letter out to you. Her one request was that I send her an e-mail stating that the only tree cutting and alterations to Indiana Bat habitat will occur during the maintenance of the transmission lines. Can this type of e-mail even be sent or does it have to be sent in a letter and goes through concurrence? Would OGC have to be consulted? Or can we not send anything like this to FWS in any form? I told Pam that I had to check with the project manager and I would get back to her.
