Dear Sir:

It has recently come to our attention that a representative of the law firm Lowenstein,.Newman, Axelrad, and Reis discussed scheduling matters with the chairman of the ASLB panel on behalf of the Applicant. We tnderstand that the discussion occurred in January of 1979.

A search of our papers indicates we have no record of receiving a summary of this discus:; ion. A check with several other parties indicates that others li'<ewise have not received that communication.

Our reading of 10 CFR Pr.rt 2 780 (c) is that we are entitled to a summary explanation of that discussion if it occurred.

We would appreciate the appropriate parties or persons forwarding to us the sucmary of that discussion. I am sure you can understand our desire to be informed of all developments with regard to this docket.

'.f e appreciate your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely, James M. Scott, Jr.
