Dear Mr. Denten:

Allens Creek Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-466 In testimony presented to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board during the Allens Creek health and safety hearings relating to the relocation of the Texas Electric Service Company's 24-inch gas pipeline, Houston Lighting & Power Company (HL&P) committed to a program to stabilize the bank of the Brazos River in the vicinity of the proposed plant.

The purpose of this letter is to confinn HL&P's commitment to install during construction of the Allens Creek plant, either alone or in co7 junction with the State of Texas, a jetty system in order to provide such stabilization.
