Allens Creek Nuclear Generating Station Unit I Docket No. 50-466 Application of Final Rule on Licensino Requirements for Pending Construction Permit and Manufacturina License Applications On February 5,1982, a letter was sent from your office to Mr. J.H. Goldbero concerning the application of the Final Rule on Licensino Requirements for Pending Construction Permit and Manufacturing License Applications on the Allens Creek Nuclear Generatina Station.
It was requested within this letter that Houston Lighting & Power Company (HL&P) advise your office if the HL&P review of the subject Final Rule resulted in identification of a need for any clarifyinc changes in the Allens Creek application.
In response to the requested information, we have compared commitments made in the Allens Creek Preliminary Safety Analysis Report and construction permit conditions recommended by the Staff in the Safety Evaluation Report, Supplements 3 and 4, with portions of the Final Rule that have been changed from the pro-posed requirements of NUREG-0718.
Our review of the Final Rule did not identify the need for clarifying changes to the Allens Creek application. Therefore, we have concluded and concur with conclusions reached in your letter that our commitments and plans, together with the Staff's recommended construction permit conditions are in accordance with the requirements of the Final Rule.
