ALLENS CREEK NGS - UNIT NO. 1 DOCKET NO. 50-466 PRELIMINARY SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT AMENDMENT 59 Houston Lighting & Power (HL&P) hereby submits Amendment No. 59 to the Allens Creek Nuclear Generating Station (ACNGS) PSAR. The purpose of this amendment is twofold:

1. To revise our response to NUREG-0718, " Licensing Requirements for Pending Applications for Construction Permits and Manufacturing License" (Amendment 59) to be consistent with our commitments made during the NRC staff review of Amendment 57.
2. To incorporate into the PSAR some information being submitted r as testimony in the ASLB Hearings regarding the LPG pipeline in the site vicinity.

By letter dated May 28, 1981, HL&P advised NRC that our Amendment would be issued containing the exact information provided to the NRC on a hand annotated copy of. Amendment 57 attached to the May 28, 1981, letter, Amendment 59 consists bf an exact reproduction of the annotated Amendment 57 except for minor changes in Items I.C.5 and I.F.2. These minor changes were, discussed with and agreed to by the NRC staff reviewers responsible for these items of information. Amendment 59 also contains information not related to material contained in Amendment 57.

          -Amendment 59 consists of revisions to our response to NUREG-0718,
     " Licensing Requirements for Pending Applications for Construction Permits and Manufacturing License" contained in Amendment 57 and information associated with_ testimony in the ASLB Hearings regarding the LPG pipeline in the site vicinity.
