Gentlemen:
I request that the wording croposed by Staff in its 100 page submittal of July 18th for the following numbered of my Contentions be designated the official wording of those Contentions for these Proceedings:
Contention 6, 8, 9, 14 (which new includes Contentions 25(a) and 25(b), 17, 24, 27, 29, 30, 32, 38(b), 39, 42.
Note that I approve consol4dation of Coatention 14, and all of 25 On Contention 47, I cropose the following be substituted for-Staff's sugrestion:.
The aain generator turbine is not designed conserva-tively enough. to prevent turbine missiles from damaging critical components of the plant, and stoppage or vi-bration of the turbine will damage the turbine and the main steam power train of the olant.
On Contention 26, Staff has agreed to re-check its wording, to see if the original narts (b) and (c) were acc.idently omitted from consideration as part of their suggestion.
