Dear Mr. Seidle:

This progress report supplements our letters TXX-3088 and TXX-3092, dated January 14 and 23, 1980, respectively, relative to a violation of piping minimum wall thicknesses previously reported to your office in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e).

A total of twenty (20) safety-related systems had welds evaluated based  !

on either physical or ultrasonic testing measurements. Of the systems i evaluated, five (5) systems had measured wall thicknesses equal to or l greater than the specified minimum wall requirement. Those systems are the:

Service Air Instrument Air Steam Generator Blowdown and Cleanup Vents and Drains Liquid Waste Processing The review of weld and base metal repair records is. continuing and a sub-sequent progress report will be submitted to your office by June 20, 1980.
