This refers to the Category 1 public meeting conducted at your request at the Region II office inAtlanta, GA on May 23, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. The meeting's purpose was to discuss recent RHRbypass line weld failures and Vogtle's status of the Mitigating Systems Performance Indicator (MSPI). The licensee presented information regarding their actions to address equipment reliability that affects the MSPI and their root cause analysis of recent RHR bypass line weldfailures.
