2. Scheduled date of next refueling shutdown: April, 1 %o .

3. Scheduled date for restart following refuelino: June, 1980.

4. Will refueling nr resumption of operation therea f ter require a technical specification change or other license amendent? Yes.

In ceneral, changes to the CR #3 technical speci fications will include:

a. Modera tor Terpera ture Coe f ficient ( 3.1.1. 3)

b. Control Rod Insertion Limits (3.1.3.6)

c. Control Rod Group Assignrents (3.1.3.7)

J. Axial Imbalance Linits (3.2.1)

e. Refueling Doron Concentration (3.9.1)

These specifications will be reviewed and chaaned as nocessarv based on the reactivi ty of the second cycle as compared to that of the first cycle.

Florida Power Corporation is presently discussing with the NRC staf f our intent to request that the power level of CR r3 be raised f ro," the present level of 2452 ff.4 (t) to the ultinate core power level of 2544 MW (t) as described in the CR d3 FSAR. FPC submitted on February 28, 1979 our reload report justifying Cycle 2 operation of CR "3 at 2511 MW (t).

On May 25, 1979, FPC n.odi fied i ts Cycle 2 reinad report j isti f ying continued opera tion a t 2'52 MW ( t) . It is nur intent to continue car discussions with the NRC in order to obtain the power upgrade at a later date.
