ATTACHMENT NO. 1 Safety Analysis The subject transmitter, FT-236, is a Foxboro M-637 and is used to indicate high pressure safety injection pump flow through the auxi-liary pressurizer spray system during long term core cooling operations.

The transmitter is being reported as lacking qualification due to the fact that a complete materials list is not available to determine the radiation qualification and qualified life. However, based on the limited materials list available and transmitter construction, the Dis-trict would expect the transmitter to withstand the post accident high radiation environment.
