On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees and holders ofconstruction permits in active or deferred status. Enclosure 4 of Reference 1 requested that eachlicensee perform flood protection walkdowns and report the results within 180 days of NRCendorsement of the flooding walkdown procedure (NEI 12-07). Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.(Entergy) completed the flood protection walkdowns at IPEC and submitted the results in Reference 2.Reference 2 contained open items where restricted access prevented walkdown of certain floodprotection features. Walkdowns of the restricted access items have been completed and this letterprovides the results. This submittal closes the open items in Reference 2.A010kiLL1 NL-14-064Docket No. 50-247Page 2 of 2The attached table provides a list of the restricted access items inspected, their respective disposition,and any action planned or taken. As a result of the inspections:* There were two deficiencies found. Both were entered into the Plant's CAP to correct as part ofthe re-evaluated flood level.* No temporary measures were required as a result of the completed inspections.* Available Physical Margins were collected and documented in the walkdown record forms foreach applicable item inspected in accordance with NEI 12-07.* One of the restricted access items was reclassified as inaccessible.There are no new commitments contained in this submittal.
