During the performance of an in-house review of regulatory correspondence for  !

the purpose of incorporating licensing commitments into a commitment '

management database, one letier, thought to have been submitted, could not be located. A search of department.and personal files subsequently located the original transmittal letter and Licensee Event Report (LER) 97-009-00, Supplement 1, dated September 17,1997. Upon review it was determined that the LER oupplement had been properly processed up to the point of mailing.

This letter forwards that supplement to Licensee Event Report 97-009-00, documenting additional conditions to those determined reportable at Millstone Unit No. 3 on January 23,1997. This LER supplement is submitted pursuant to 10CFR 50.73(a)(2)(v)(D). Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO's) commitments in response to this event are contained within Attachment 1 to the enclosure.
