The pump was removed from service and the leaks isolated. Te redundant charging pumps remained in service throughout this I o 3 , event, (T.S.6.9.1.9.d) . Similar events are described in LERs 79-26 (U-1) and I o o;77-75 (U-2).

A design modification is under review to install a larger pump discharge dampener and also a suction stabilizer to mini;nize vibration on system due to flow pulsations.(FCR79-1004).
