INTERIM 10 CFR PART 21 REPORT REGARDING SUBMODULE ANDEMBEDMENT DEVIATIONS FOR V.C. SUMMER UNIT 2 AP1000 PROJECTThe attachment to this letter provides an interim report in accordance with 10 CFR 21.21pertaining to submodule and embedment deviations for the V.C. Summer Unit 2 AP1000 nuclearproject. Based on information described in site quality control inspection reports, deviationswere identified in the Unit 2 CA-01 and CA-05 structural submodules, and also in some safety-related embedments.Evaluation of reportability in accordance with 10 CFR Part 21 was not able to be completedwithin the 60-day evaluation period due to the recent discovery that the initial evaluation of theseconditions incorrectly determined that no additional evaluation was required. These conditionswere discovered during reviews conducted due to discovery of other similar conditions.
