License No.23-275 RO 50-395 NPF-12 On October 4, 2023, DESC received NRC Inspection Report 05000395/2023090 (Reference 1) documenting the preliminary significance determination of a finding and associated Apparent Violation 05000395/2023002-01 (EA-23-093).
The Inspection
- Report states that NRC assessed the significance of the finding based on the best available information at the time of the Significance and Enforcement Review Panel on September 13, 2023.
In accordance with the instructions provided in the Inspection Report, DESC requests a regulatory conference to present additional information for consideration prior to NRC making a final significance determination for the finding. Also, in accordance with the instructions, we have verbally notified Mr. David E. Dumbacher of our request for a regulatory conference.
