On November 8, 2018, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of Duke Energy Progress, LLC (the licensee), at NRC Headquarters, Three White Flint North, 11601 Landsdown Street, North Bethesda, Maryland.

The licensee presented informational slides at the meeting (ADAMS Accession No. ML18333A182). The licensee discussed the reason for the proposed change of the TSC description in the emergency plan is to correct a non-conformance with the TSC documentation.

Although Harris currently credits sirens and tone alert radios as primary ways to communicate in an emergency, Harris plans to only credit the sirens as a primary means of communication in the future.
