SUMMARY

OF THE AUGUST 22, 2016, DONALD C. COOK PUBLIC MEETING On August 22, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public open house to discuss the 2015 annual assessment results for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant at the Maud Preston Palenske Public Library. The purpose of the open house was to provide an opportunity for the public to discuss NRC activities, nuclear power issues, and Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant performance for the period of January 1, 2015, through December 31, 2015. The NRC letter and meeting notice for this open house can be found in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) as ML16216A350 and ML16216A375 respectively. Enclosed are the attendee lists for the meeting.

The NRC provided discussions related to the NRCs assessment of Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant performance, which was documented in the March 2, 2016 End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (reference ADAMS Accession Number ML16060A261). Throughout the open house, members of the public were given the opportunity to ask questions of NRC officials.
