SUMMARY

OF THE JULY 23, 2019 PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS NRC ACTIVITIES AND THE 2018 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF DONALD C. COOK NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 On July 23, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EDT), a public open house was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2018 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2, and with general information on the NRC. The open house was held at the Silver Beach Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. The NRC representatives discussed plant performance with members of the public. No feedback form was received for this outreach. Representatives from Indiana Michigan Power Company were also present at the event.

The assessment information was documented in the March 4, 2019, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML19063B484). Representatives from the NRC made copies of the above letter and other brochures available to the public in attendance. Throughout the open house, members of the public were given the opportunity to ask questions of the Indiana Michigan Power Company officials.
