On September 21, 2006, a public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and representatives of Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC), at NRC Headquarters, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss extension of completion time for Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) at Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP), Unit 1 and 2. There have been previous discussions with the licensee regarding load capabilities of the EDGs.
