OF APRIL 3,2012, PRE-APPLICATION MEETING WITH NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION, LLC REGARDING THE PROPOSED NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION STANDARD 805 (NFPA-805)

LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. ME8158)

On April 3, 2012, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC (NMPNS) at NRC Headquarters, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NMPNS's planned submittal of a license amendment request to transition its fire protection licensing basis to NFPA-805.

A member of the public was in attendance by telephone. Public Meeting Feedback forms were not received. Enclosure 1 is a list of meeting attendees and Enclosure 2 is a copy of the licensee's slides presented at the meeting (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML121210044).
