LOSS OF BOTH TRAINS OF RHR This updates the loss of both RHR trains at Wolf Creek on December 9, 1987.
-The A Train diesel was declared operable at 12:22 p.m. on December 9, 1987. Investigation of the changed mechanical governor setting has lead the licensee to conclude that tampering may have occurred. The licensee has contacted the FBI and has restricted access to the diesel generator rooms.
Region IV contacted the IAT at approximately 11:00 a.m. on December 9, 1987.
The Licensee decided to issue a press release on December 9, 1987.
