PLANT SHUTDOWN GREATER THAN 48 HOURS The Waterford 3 plant manager reported that he had ordered a plant shutdown due to a continued temperature rise in leak off temperature from Reactor; Coolant Pump Seal 28. Seal deterioration indicated that a reactor shutdown was warranted. The utility plans to be shut down for 10; days to replace the. seal.
They plan to replace at least one additional seal during the outage.
