The information is as initially received without vtrification or evaluation, and is basically all that is known by the Region III staff on this date.

COMMUNICATED THREAT (UPDATE) l At approximately 11:12 p.m. (CST), on March 14, 1986, an unidentified male telephoned the

, Callaway plant and stated that he had removed some tags from some mechanical equipment. The

) licensee assumes that this individual is the same one who threatened the plant earlier (Ref. PN0-III-86-22). The unit is shut down for refueling.

The licensee added security personnel and proceeded to check the plant. The investigation of this and the earlier incidents is continuing. No abnormal conditions have been observed.

l The local law enforcement agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been notified of this further threat.

l The State of Missouri will be notified.

Region III (Chicago) was notified of this incident at 12:30 a.m. (CST), on March 15, 1986.
