SETTLEMENT OF STRIKE The licensee informed the NRC on December 11, 1987 that striking International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers had voted to accept a new contract. The strike was officially terminated at 0001 December 13, 1987. The agreement has provisions for the gradual return to work of watch standing personnel. The turnover between management and returning personnel is expected to take about one week.

The licensee has made provisions for retraining returning personnel. Strikers had started returning on the 13th. NRC inspectors on site found their return to work to be uneventful and no animosity was noted.

The facility has been operating at full power since its startup by management on >

November 22, 1987.

The ending of the strike has received some press coverage. The State of New Jersey has been notified.
