Examinations were conducted on November 8 - 10 and December 5 - 7, 1988, and '

January 11 - 12, 1989. Operating tests were administered to 49 candidates; 48 of whom passed. Based on the results described above, 20 of 20 R0s passed and 28 of 29 SR0s passed.

3. Exit Meeting-At the conclusion of the site visit the examiners met with representatives of the plant staff to discuss the results of the l examination. l There was a generic weakness noted during the oral examination. The area of below normal performance was in circuit breaker locations. This weakness was highlighted by very limited procedural guidance in this area. The facility had identified this item and procedural changes were in progress.

The cooperation given to the examiners and the effort to ensure an I atmosphere in the control room conducive to oral examinations was also noted and appreciated.

The licensee did not identify as proprietary any of the material provided to our reviewed by the examiners.
